The Wellbeing Fitness Education Centre

Wellbeing Fitness has been in business for ten years. We pride ourselves on a first-class, private service in luxury surroundings, and the same standards apply to our Education Centre.

Our Director of Education, Ian Spiby, spent 18 years as a Head of Department at Northampton University, overseeing the rigorous standards of our course.

Our Course Director, Kieran Sharpe, has extensive experience delivering PT courses and has attained an Ofsted "outstanding" rating at a number of institutions.

The Wellbeing Fitness Level 3 Diploma

A fully accredited qualification developing the knowledge, understanding, and technical skills needed for a career as a personal trainer.

The course covers all elements needed to work effectively as a personal trainer, including anatomy and physiology, professional practice, health and fitness principles, and how to design and deliver personal training sessions. You will be able to structure programmes specifically targeted to individual client needs.

WEFC's Towcester training facility is approximately 19 miles from Wellingborough — a 30-minute drive via the A509 and A45. The route is straightforward with minimal traffic on Sunday mornings. Free parking is available on arrival at Lucas Bridge Business Park, NN12 8AX.

Our next intake starts Sunday 17th January 2027 and ends 21st March 2027, with breaks on 14th and 21st February. Taught on 8 Sundays between 3.30pm and 8.00pm at Wellbeing Fitness, Towcester (NN12 8AX). A second January 2027 course runs on 10 Tuesday evenings, from Tuesday 19th January to Tuesday 23rd March 2027, 6.30pm to 9.00pm.

In addition to Sunday sessions, students are expected to complete homework via our special online hub.

To join you must be over 16 years old, physically able to perform the work, and have good communication skills. There is no upper age limit. Mature students are especially welcome.

No prior qualifications are necessary.

Unlike many training providers, you will be trained by a company at the heart of the industry, actively delivering personal training to real clients. As part of the course we hold regular clinics attended by our clients. Under supervision, you can put your new skills to the test and gain invaluable real-life experience.
